Olive has decided that You Are My Sunshine is her favorite tune and sang it about 20 times this morning. I finally decided to get it on video. Enjoy!
Speedy
I told Olive to hurry up today, like “Speedy Gonzalez”. Her response? “Yes, I’m going to hurry like Speedy Gonz-Olive”. I have a feeling this nickname is going to stick.

If you come across me today, please forgive me for not being able to form a sentence. Matilda and I have headcolds, Lincoln had eye surgery, and Olive? Well, she’s just Olive. ‘Nuff said.

My 365 project
I’ve decided to post to this blog every day this year. Maybe a photo, maybe a few sentences, or maybe something more. I want to do this for my girls, but also for me. I want a record of our days and of this time together. It’s already flying by so quickly, and even though i have days that I can’t wait for their bedtimes, mostly I wish time would slow down. There are errands...

Olive: Rain rain, go away, come again to eat today.
Me: What does rain eat?...
And we’ll all go out to beat her when she comes.
